Large oil painting of a solitary blue-green mountain rising above a flate horizon, its reflection shimmering instill water below. Soft lavendera nd white clouds dift throuh a pale sky. Displayed in a natural wood float frame.

Sleeping Lady, as Mount Susitna is nicknamed, watches over Cook Inlet on a summer day. Warm sun brightens the green band of foliage she rises up from. She is an icon for Southcentral Alaska and I felt she deserved to be painted BIG!
